As Alabamians continue recovering from the devastating tornadoes of April 27, public health authorities are exploring ways to lessen the overall destruction of lives and property in future disasters.

Storm victims should beware of unlicensed repair workers

AUBURN, AL - Due to the storm events that took place on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, there will likely be an increase in the number of contractors, plumbers, electricians, roofers, tree cutters, and other service type businesses seeking to do business in the City of Auburn. Please note that anyone working in the City of Auburn must have a City of Auburn business license. Most of the previously listed professions must also possess a State of Alabama specialty license.
