Condition of Toomer’s Corner trees unknown
AUBURN, AL (WTVM)- The condition of the poisoned oak trees at Toomer's Corner in Auburn won't be known to the public for awhile.
Judge Jacob Walker is enforcing a gag order on all parties associated with the case, and that includes those caring for the two oaks.
The gag order was put in place just before Harvey Updyke's trial was to begin last month. After four days of trying to find jurors who hadn't heard about the case, his trial was continued.
University leaders will only say they still plan to allow fans to roll the trees during this football season.
