Thieves target Apple products in Best Buy burglary
OPELIKA, AL - Thousands of dollars in Apple products were stolen from Best Buy over the weekend.
Opelika Police say that the alarm was tripped at the Best Buy on Tiger Town Parkway on Oct. 7 around 6:20 a.m.
When officers arrived they found the rear loading bay door had been forced open and someone had gained entry to the business.
Best Buy personnel came to the scene and reported nearly $70,000 worth of iPads and Apple Macbook Pros were removed from their storage containers and taken from the store.
