Auburn football player Michael McNeil pleads guilty to robbery

Former Auburn University football player Michael McNeil has avoided trial by pleading guilty to robbery. 

The judge sentenced McNeil to 15 years in prison.  He will serve at least three years behind bars, followed by three years of probation upon his release.

McNeil is one of four former players that have been charged in a residential hold-up.

OPELIKA, AL - Opelika Police are looking for five more suspects wanted in a months long drug bust.

The suspects all have warrants related to the sale of illegal narcotics and they are all from the Opelika area.

Frank Porter V, age 19, is charged with two counts of second degree theft of property. He was taken into custody on Feb. 14.

OPELIKA, AL - A couple of teens went joyriding in a stolen car left at an auto repair shop Tuesday when they were chased down by employees.

Opelika Police say R&N Auto Repair on Frederick Rd. had a 1997 burgundy and gold GMC van stolen Monday night.

Kevin Darcy Golden, age 45, pleaded guilty to charges of production of child pornography back in October 2012.

OPELIKA, AL - Opelika Police captured a suspect in an attempted murder case from over the weekend. 

Investigators arrested Allecia Monique Pitts, age 21, around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday.
