Auburn Journalism Students to Present Chattahoochee Heritage Project at Columbus Museum

(WTVM)--Students from Auburn University’s Department of Communications and Journalism will deliver a special presentation about their recent work in Columbus on April 25 at 5:30 p.m. at the Columbus Museum.

The presentation is part of the Chattahoochee Heritage Project, which Journalism students at Auburn University participate in each semester. These students create multi-platform content that focuses on significant areas of cultural and historical interest.

Cotton Boll Quilt Exhibition and Reception

AUBURN, AL - The Auburn Arts Association presents Works by the Cotton Boll Quilt Guild, currently on display at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center.

The exhibition features 24 quilts and wall hangings and will be on display through Friday, Dec. 21. A reception honoring the quilters will be held on Friday, Dec. 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Arts Center.

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - Check out this time lapse video of students from Auburn University's Student Government Association repainting the Toomer's Corner tiger paw. 

The students gathered to repaint the paw Monday night, while police blocked the intersection and directed traffic.

Painting the tiger paw is becoming a fall tradition for students at Auburn.
